Isn't ChatGPT amazing?
Bill Gates said in his blog, “In my lifetime, I’ve seen two demonstrations of technology that struck me as revolutionary, the first was the graphical user interface, and the second is AI”.
In this issue, I'll share some tips on how to use ChatGPT effectively to save time and boost productivity.
These tips have worked wonders for me:
I now save 5 hours every week.
My productivity has increased by at least 5x.
I've doubled my creative output.
When I first used ChatGPT in 2022, it was more of a casual interaction. I asked random questions and enjoyed the amusing responses. However, when I tried to delegate serious tasks to ChatGPT, I faced some challenges:
I struggled to get accurate and precise responses.
Editing the output required additional time and effort.
Crafting good prompts was a struggle.
I almost gave up, convinced that I wasn't good at using ChatGPT effectively.
But then, in March 2023, something happened that changed everything.
I signed up for an online Workshop on ChatGPT. And what I learned from that workshop completely changed how I use ChatGPT now.
Before the workshop, I didn’t know:
How to leverage ChatGPT for productivity.
The true time-saving potential it holds.
The fact that less than 5% of people use ChatGPT correctly.
Here's what I learned about using ChatGPT the right way:
#1 ChatGPT is your 24/7 Intern
Think of ChatGPT as your dedicated intern available round the clock. It possesses vast knowledge and general intelligence but requires training to provide accurate and relevant responses.
Training it with the right prompts will give you more precise and helpful results.
#2 Specificity Is the Secret!
When instructing ChatGPT, be as specific as possible:
Version 1: "Give me investing tips."
Version 2: "Give me real estate investing tips."
Version 3: "Give me real estate investing tips for beginners."
Version 4: "Give me 5 real estate investing tips for beginners."
Version 5: "Give me 5 real estate investing tips for beginners with $10,000 to invest."
Version 6: "Give me 5 real estate investing tips for beginners with $10,000. Keep it within 500 words. Start each section with a 'tip,' and provide supporting statistics or data."
#3 Chat History = Trained Digital Assistants
You know that ChatGPT saves each chat instance into “chat history”. And all the questions and instructions you have shared to train chatGPT are saved, so you don’t have to do it again. Think (and use) your chat history as a trained digital assistant for a particular task.
Here are few examples:
Legal Assistant
Email Assistant
Social Media Assistant
Excel Spreadsheet Assistant
Book Summary Assistant
Blog Assistant
Health Assistant
Key takeaway: By training ChatGPT as my digital assistant and providing precise instructions tailored to my needs, I now save approximately 5 hours per week. AI isn't meant to replace but to enhance our capabilities.
🚀 Grow
Mental health is my top priority, followed by physical health. As such, I am always learning and looking for ways to improve my emotional well-being.
Over the past few years, I have started writing down and tracking my daily feelings and emotions. Being aware of our feelings is the first step in taking charge of our emotional well-being.
Then, I discovered the How We Feel app and immediately fell in love with it. Here's why:
The app has a fun and easy design for daily check-ins.
It offers small (<2 min) video tips to help us learn and improve our emotional well-being.
It helps us understand patterns in our emotions over time.
And, best of all, it's free!
🤩 Inspiration
Change the narration and bend the reality.

I'm also a big believer in the growth mindset (I found in thanks to the Huberman Lab podcast) and I must say that it has helped me to avoid quitting my goals. Thanks for the amazing quick-start guide on chatGPT, I think this will be very beneficial for me in the future! :)
