1. Steve Jobs by Walter IsaacsonÂ
I started my book reading journey with this book and have read this book twice.Â
Steve Jobs and his Apple have been a huge inspiration for me to grow my business with an obsession for excellent products and exceptional services.Â
His passion for quality, simplicity, persistence, determination, minimalism, problem solving, dreaming big and bold, and creative thinking is my all-time inspiration.    Â
2. The 5 AM Club: Own Your Morning. Elevate Your Life by Robin S. SharmaÂ
This book inspired me to wake up at 5 am (before I was 9 am), and the habit of waking up early transformed my life significantly.Â
It has lots of good life lessons, inspiration, and positivity that will give you some goosebumps.Â
Learning personal development through fiction storytelling makes it a fun read.
The quotes and frameworks mentioned in the book can serve as a daily dose of inspiration (Worth putting them on the bathroom mirror).
3. The Snowball: Warren Buffet and the Business of Life by Alice SchroederÂ
Life and money lessons from this book have helped me grow financially and intellectually.
So much to learn from Warren Buffet’s life, like designing simple life, building a circle of competence, conscious vs. compulsive decisions, long-term vs. short-term thinking, the first principle thinking, returns on learning, etc.
Time-tasted and practical advice you can reliably follow for investment, personal finance, and designing a simple life.
4. The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness by Eric Jorgenson  Â
This book is based on popular tweets of Naval Ravikant (successful entrepreneur and investor)Â
Very short (and impactful) advice to live a happy and fulfilling (aka extraordinary) life.Â
It challenges (in a good way) our traditional thinking of success, wealth, and happiness. Â
This is a book you need to read with a highlighter and reread your highlights every year.Â
5. The 4-Hour Work Week: Escape the 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join the New Rick by Timothy FerrissÂ
This book is a bible to designing a productive lifestyle.Â
If you are a productivity nerd, an efficiency ninja, and love freedom (like me), this book is for you.Â
My productivity has boosted 10x by applying only 20% of ideas from the book (guess what the rest, 80% will do)Â
6. The Code of the Extraordinary Mind: 10 Unconventional Laws to Redefine Your Life and Succeed On Your Own Terms by Vishen Lakhiani Â
Vishen shares the benefits of meditation inspires for a mindset reset and encourages us to challenge our old belief system, which has been forced upon us by our culture and religions.Â
Vishen is the founder of Mindvalley, which is an MIT for personal growth (I am learning and growing new skills every day from Mindvalley programs).Â
My favorite chapter is the 6-phase mediation which I have started practicing myself and with my employees.Â
7. Think Like a Monk: Train Your Mind for Peace and Purpose Every Day by Jay ShettyÂ
Jay Shetty has become a brand ambassador of mindfulness and mental health. And this book covers great anecdotes from his monk life.Â
One of my life quests is to explore spirituality and experience mindfulness, and Jay has shared a lot of good wisdom on this topic.Â
The wisdom shared in this book will help you grow mentally, spiritually, intellectually, and socially.Â
8. The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma Â
If you or someone dear to you is struggling with mental health, this is a must-read.Â
You will learn a lot about your brain (how it works), your emotions (how it shapes your thoughts and life), and scientific and practical advice on beating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other types of mental health challenges.Â
The book made me more loving, caring, and compassionate to others struggling with mental health.
9. Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap… and Others Don’t by Jim CollinsÂ
This is a great (and must) read book for all sizes of businesses.Â
Reading this book helped me improve the quality of my business decisions, strategies, and goals.
I still follow and apply the principles shared in this book for hiring, harvesting the company culture and values, and designing a sustainable and long-term growth strategy. Â
10. The One Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results by Gary Keller, Jay PapasanÂ
This book inspired me to realign my business focus and strategy, which turned out to be a very profitable decision.Â
It helps to understand the positive impact of focusing only on what matters in life and business. Â
You will learn about the domino effect of mastery, excellence, and dominance in one industry, expertise, and skill.
